Had a great experience in Ministry of Crab Kuala Lumpur. All the crabs and prawns were imported from Sri Lanka through flight and cooked in the same day. We ordered the Colossal crab using original Sri Lanka flavor and the OMG prawn using the garlic flavor and both tasted amazing. All the crews are professional and friendly in service. Also had a great moment talking to the chef and learning how he established this restaurant and philosophy in legal and responsible fishing. Overall, we had a great time celebrating our anniversary here and will visit again next time in Kuala Lumpur!

An unforgettable dining experience at Ministry of Crab, KL. The Garlic Chilli Oil Crab and prawns were absolute standouts, both incredibly fresh with the natural sweetness of the meat shining through, enriched by the rich, aromatic olive oil. The Lankan Crab Curry was another highlight, oozing spice and layered flavours that left a lasting impression. And don’t forget to order their bread—fluffy, light, locally sourced, and toasted to perfection. Other must-tries include the crab pâté, crab chawanmushi, crème brûlée served in a coconut, and the indulgent chocolate batik cake. Equally impressive was the impeccable service from the front-of-house team, who made the evening seamless and warm. A special mention to Chef Lingesh, who personally shared the vision of the restaurant and how they have painstakingly preserved the skills and passion of serving the best crabs from Colombo to KL. As good as my first visit to Ministry of Crab, Colombo, a few years back. A must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur if you’re looking for a perfect mix of world-class seafood and heartfelt hospitality.
